Assessing measurement of episodic memory was recalling the item and the source images and words test , and semantic memory, class categories and fluid words. Data analyzed with T-test for independent groups, multivariate analysis of varianc, Levin test, M-box test. T-test and episodic memory and semantic memory avarage scores (P> 0.01, t38= 6.22, xˉ:61/95, P> 0.01, t38= 3.61, xˉ:271/55) showed significant differences in the function of these memory in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy and healthy controls. the function of episodic memory and semantic memory in epilepsy patients are lower than healthy people and also they share the same brain structures.
