Objective: The clinical creativity-therapy model is a new strategy to increase the efficacy of mind and personality which leads to the improvement of the mental health. This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the clinical creativity-therapy model in controlling the mental damage syndrome of the students such as physical symptoms, anxiety, depression, and social functioning.

Method: The participants were 40 students who were selected randomly. GHQ 28 instrument was used for collecting the data.

Results: The results showed significant reduction in the damage syndrome of students in the experimental group. The differences in physical complaints, anxiety, and impairment in social functioning between the two groups of experimental and control were significant.

Conclusion: Clinical creativity-therapy model can lessen the physical complaints, anxiety, and impairment in social functioning of the people under treatment and this strategy is recommended to be used for the students who are suffering from these syndromes.
