Intruduction: Accurate identification of the extent of sexual problems in couples using accurate, valid, useful and practical measurement tools can open the way for accurate evaluation and planning of an effective and efficient treatment program. With this description, the present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the psychometric aspects and measuring its validity and reliability in the Iranian society of the self-assessment questionnaire of sexual problems in the Iranian society.

Method: This study is of the type of validation and its method is also descriptive and in that validation was done by exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis method. CVI and CVR indexes were used to check validity. The convergent validity of this questionnaire was investigated by calculating the Pearson correlation between the scores of this questionnaire and the scores of the Sexual Satisfaction Questionnaire (ISS) and its divergent validity was also investigated by calculating the Pearson correlation coefficient between the scores of this questionnaire and the scores of the depression, anxiety and stress questionnaire DASS21. Also, in order to measure reliability, binomial method and Cronbach's alpha calculation were used. In this study, spss version 24 and Laserl version 8.8 software were used for data analysis. The study sample was 385 couples from Qom province who were available. The significance level was considered 0.05. became.

Results: In the present study, the content validity indicators were all at an acceptable level (above 0.80). Exploratory factor analysis showed that the sexual problems self-assessment questionnaire is a multi-dimensional scale and explains a high amount of variables in the questionnaire. The confirmatory factor analysis of the 5-factor model of the questionnaire was approved and had appropriate fit indices (RMSEA=0.08). Convergent validity ranged from 0.50 to 0.79 and divergent validity ranged from -0.40 to It was -0.62. Therefore, the indices related to convergent and divergent validity received appropriate support. Cronbach's alpha of the questionnaire was 0.93 and the correlation coefficient between the two halves of the test was 0.77.

Discussion and Conclusion: The results indicated the validity and reliability of the self-assessment questionnaire of sexual problems in married Iranian men and women. Considering its reliability and validity, this questionnaire can be used in research and clinical situations and is the subject of many researches. In the realm of family psychology, he provided.
